We recently visited  London bar Callooh Callay which featured, among other items, a bar area with unusual wooden decking underneath the main counter; parquet flooring in some places and wide stained shabby-chic floorboards in others; highly-polished retro veneer tables for diners and antique-style carved wooden occasional tables for drinkers.
